George Soros, opps George Gascon, New L.A. District Attorney: Criminals will be Freed

No cash bail.  No death penalty, free criminals already in jail.  He is dropping hundreds of criminal cases.

“On Monday, newly sworn-in District Attorney George Gascón announced a broad set of policies, including an end to cash bail for misdemeanor and non-violent felonies, taking the death penalty “off the table,” and no longer trying juveniles as adults. Gang enhancements and three strike allegations will no longer be included in criminal complaints. Families of people killed by law enforcement officers will be entitled to victims’ services.

Thousands of criminal cases are expected to be evaluated for resentencing under Gascón’s leadership. Those who have served extensive jail time, those convicted of non-violent crimes, and those at high risk for COVID-19 complications will be prioritized. The DA will also work to shift death row inmates’ sentences to life without parole.”

Los Angeles is trying to compete with Minneapolis, Seattle, San Fran or Portland as a haven for criminals.  Go to L.A. at your own risk, the DA represents the criminals, not you.  Another victory for George Soros.

New L.A. County D.A. Announces Sweeping Changes

California County News, 12/9/2020

Significant changes are coming to Los Angeles County’s criminal justice system.

On Monday, newly sworn-in District Attorney George Gascón announced a broad set of policies, including an end to cash bail for misdemeanor and non-violent felonies, taking the death penalty “off the table,” and no longer trying juveniles as adults.

The DA will also work to shift death row inmates’ sentences to life without parole.

Gascón, a former L.A. cop and district attorney for the City of San Francisco, campaigned on a progressive platform of criminal justice reform and social redress. The changes announced this week are in line with his promises during the campaign.

“Experts estimate that at least 20,000 people sentenced to prison from L.A. County are serving sentences far longer than they would receive under the charging policies I announced today,” he said Monday. “Punishment must be proportional and in the community’s best interest.” Gascón added that his policies will save taxpayers billions of dollars, which can then be reinvested into troubled communities.

Not everyone is happy with the changes at the nation’s largest district attorney’s office. LAist reports that some county prosecutors are feeling “dismayed.” The union that represents LAPD officers has accused Gascón of aligning himself with criminals and gang members.

  1. ExCaliExpat says

On the bright side, this will guarantee increasing real estate values in Ventura County, as the outmigration from the s### hole of Los Angeles continues….

  2. Until I watched him on Ch. 11, I was concerned not I am Horrified.

No wonder Frisco is in the state it is.

Find it interesting black families and mothers are speaking out against his policies. (where were the votes?)

Yet you barely see any mention of the black and hispanic opposition on ABC, NBC, CW, etc.

Just like Biden corruption they block anything that would stop the Communist take over

  3. Fed up with CA says

I was shocked and horrified to see he was elected after reading of his background. Just goes to show that the people in LA are probably very illiterate. Did they really vote? Just wonder how many votes were fraudulent. The Dems refuse to take an Dems off the voting rolls. I am still getting ballots for the person who moved from this State in 2003 when I bought this house from them. I have tried to send the ballots back, notified them of the move, etc….. year after year after year…. Still makes me wonder if someone if voting for that person who is no longer in this state and may even not be alive. I am so done with CA.

  4. Judicial Watch sued California to clean voter rolls. JW won. CA never cleaned the rolls.

We do not have a fair voting system here. There is nothing else going on here. They have us coming and going and bought and sold. CA is not alone, and many states are in this situation.

We are in trouble with Gascon for sure. SF is coming to LA. And that means migration of all those wanting to flee – including the criminals. It will vastly affect Southern Ca. Meantime they defunded the LA Police Department by 150 MIL.

Pray that Trump Admin stays in and we hold the senate!!!!

  5. ……and why hasn’t that “prique” soros not been deported? He is wanted in many countries for money fraud.
