Hollywood Hills Horror: Los Angeles Crime Wave Hits Wealthy Neighborhood in Deadly Shootout

Looks like the wealthy are getting the same treatment as folks in East L.A. and Watts—crime.  With all their money, armed bodyguards, fancy and expensive security systems, the lack of police protection and the DA siding with criminals has brought crime to their doorstep.

“A deadly shootout erupted in an exclusive neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills early Friday morning in what might have been an attempted robbery of a multi-million dollar home, according to multiple reports.

It is the latest shooting incident in what has been a dramatic surge in violent crime across Los Angeles, which recently voted to defund its police department.

TMZ reported there is at least one dead and three injured after gunfire erupted just off the Sunset Strip at a home on Blue Jay Way. Three men reportedly drove up to the house in an Audi and opened fire. A security guard was shot but returned fire and struck two of the suspects, killing one of them.

Yes, the security guard was shot.  Los Angeles is a war zone—maybe the National Guard needs to be brought in?

A deadly shootout erupted in an exclusive neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills early Friday morning in what might have been an attempted robbery of a multi-million dollar home, according to multiple reports.

The Audi then fled down Blue Jay with a flat tire before LAPD pulled the vehicle over near Beverly Hills.

Three people were found inside of the car, two of whom suffered from gunshot wounds, according to The Sun. One of them was dead and the other was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The third individual was uninjured.

The security guard was later found with a bullet wound to the stomach and was taken to a hospital.

Reports said the shootout took place around 2 a.m. Friday, with multiple 911 calls being placed. It remains unclear why the three men opened fire and what they were planning to do.

The dramatic shootout comes as Los Angeles continues to see a spike in crime after the Democrat-controlled city defunded its police force to the tune of $150 million last year in a move to appease the Black Lives Matter movement.

LAPD recently revealed the city has experienced a whopping 50 percent increase in shooting victims this year compared to the same point last year. Violent crime has increased by 4.3 percent over the same period.

L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon (D), who took office in December, has laid out a lenient attitude toward prosecuting crime, which some believe has encouraged more violence across the county.

This incident reminds me of being transferred to Detroit during the last years of the Coleman Young regime.
The realtor I used found a beautiful mansion — literally — in one of the Grosse Points communities.
As a youngish civil servant housing money was slim and no way, I thought, could I afford the beautiful stone pile … and the full city block of land that came with it…until she told me the price: $150k.
    Why so cheap?
A gang had moved into the Detroit City side of this tiny incorporated village & crime in that enclave of beauty had exploded.
The old money folks were fleeing.
The guy across the street also had a for sale sign out so I asked him why the giveaway prices? … He said he was leaving because of the violent attack on his neighbor’s house – he showed me the fresh bullet scars in the stonework by the front door.
Some 20 months later I was on my way to East Asia & most of the beautiful homes in that tiny village had been bought by Section 8 speculators, cut up into apartments & the ghetto had moved in…bringing with them crime & all the problems Detroit had in those days..
The Hollywood Hills might face the same fate.

  2. Unfortunately, Democrats are like locusts stripping a city, state, and now the country of everything beautiful and nice.

Go to the Seattle area (and probably many other such areas) if you want to see the steady spread of the destruction to some beautiful old areas that have now been taken over by people that have little or no respect for property, law, people. Those areas are now no persons areas – dangerous to any who enter, including the police. The political leaders of Seattle are front and center the leaders of that destruction. Not sure of those that vote for them – and their reasons for doing so. Perhaps some day a new zenith will rise.

Tonight Tucker Carlson mentioned that Blackrock Capital, owned partly by the Communist govt of China is buying up single family homes in suburbs all over the USA to put up apartment houses and turn beautiful suburbs into urban hellholes.

It’s important to know who owns and/or lives in the home……as there was a security detail, it must be a “celebrity” ….is it someone in the rap music industry?
