If you carry a gun on a California campus you are breaking the law. If you use your gun to stop a massacre or a terrorist event, YOU are in trouble for having a gun. The great news for wannabee terrorists is that they can shoot up a California campus and not worry about the teachers, professor’s staff or students shooting back or trying to stop you. The Sacramento Democrats have students and professor’s ducks in a shooting arcade, like at a Fair.

Though he says armed students or teachers could save lives in the event of a mass-shooting situation.
“When it comes to school campuses, people if they are genuinely armed and armed for the right reasons, and if they were able to come to the aid of others who were the imminent victim of an active-shooter, I think we would have seen some different results.”
Think about this when you send your children off to a California college—they are not allowed to protect themselves from predators. This, in a so-called free nation. Shame on us.

New Restrictions On Concealed Weapons On Campus

A new California law bans most people from carrying a concealed firearm on campus. That’s even though the group behind the law says armed students or teachers could limit casualties in the event of mass-shootings.
Only active and retired law enforcement, or a person who has received permission from a school may carry a concealed weapon on its grounds.
Stan Skipworth is with the California College and University Police Chiefs Association -the driving force behind the law. He’s also the Director of Campus Safety for Claremont Colleges.
He says research shows schools would not be safer overall if students and teachers were allowed to bring firearms o n campus.
“I just don’t know that we have that body of evidence to be able to point to and say this why we want to have guns on campus. We just don’t have that to be able to really confidently point to.”
He says the daily potential for problems from guns on campus outweighs the possible benefits.

Stan Skipworth is a complete ass. CCW holders have been able to carry on public school campus for decades. There is not one documented case of a CCW holder committing a crime with his firearm on a school campus nationwide. CCW holders are less likely to commit a crime with a firearm that a police officer yet he and fools like him continue that for our own safety we should be prevented from carrying on campus.
I have a son in an elementary school in CA where every day I take and pick him up and every day I have carried a concealed handgun. No one knew I was armed and thank god I never needed the weapon. Next week when he returns to school I will be forced by law to leave the gun at home. I fail to see how this is progress.
What do our “betters” care, their kids all attend “private academies” with armed security, so this possibility will never effect them.
I’m sure glad I don’t live in California … not just because of this piece of insanity, but because your pols have legislated the once-Golden State into the first zone of the new, unimproved Communist America … Oh, there is no Stalin or Politburo out there but the mindset is purely authoritarianism intended to emasculate the people and make them entirely subservient to, and dependent upon the state for their very lives.
From where I sit the inmates of Stalag California have only the illusion of freedom.
