This Valentine’s Day, UCLA promotes ‘Sex Squad’ performance

UCLA is a great campus.  It prepares students to bully others, be intolerant, hate white males and to discriminate against those they disagree with.  For Valentines Day the school wanted to make sure the students were ready for sex.  No, not a typo, the campus leaders wanted the students ready for sex last night and this weekend.

“UCLA celebrated Valentine’s Day early on Wednesday with a “Sex Squad” theater troupe and a “condom couture expert.”

The Fowler Museum at UCLA hosted the Valentine’s Day-themed open-mic night featuring “Condom Couture” artist Adriana Bertini and the UCLA “Sex Squad.” The event will conclude a month-long presentation of Through Positive Eyes, a sprawling photography display created by more than 100 people living with HIV/AIDS.

One prominent guest slated to speak, Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini, turns expired and defective condoms into clothing pieces.

Organized by UCLA’s World Arts and Cultures/Dance Department, the night promises food, drinks, and music while speakers share stories of art and “activism.”

Do you long for the day when the worse the students did was eat gold fish and tee-pee a professors home?

“I want my art to be visible everywhere, reminding people of the necessity of HIV prevention,” Bertini told UNAids. “I prefer working more with the figurines because I noticed that they make people think about the meaning of ‘Wear against AIDS’.”

Also featured at the event will be the UCLA “Sex Squad,” which will be showing off one of its newest performances.

The squad describes itself as a group that “use[s] humor, theater, and storytelling to open up urgent conversations on taboo topics surrounding sex” and “aim[s] to creatively and inclusively shift the stigmatized culture around sexual health that exists in our world today.”

The radical left will stop at nothing to intimidate conservative students on college campuses. You can help expose them. Find out more »

“As a group, they choose the most significant topics on which to focus their art-making,” their website explains. “The Squad spends the fall creating engaging and interactive skits, poems, songs, dances, and any form of performative art you can imagine!”

“We believe in inclusivity,” the group further explains, “and pushing back against heteronormative and patriarchal approaches that affect the LGBTQ+ and female-identified communities, as well as other marginalized populations. . . We embody a philosophy of collaboration over individual genius, channeling the power of the collective. We view human beings as innately artistic and aim in our creative process to express rather than impress.”

  1. Yet another example of the sick, twisted minds of Socialists running the UCLA campus. A perfect example of their strategy to tear down our moral and social codes in America. After all, they can’t control us if we think independently of and judge the quality of the garbage they try to feed us. Wake up students. This is your country. Don’t voluntarily become a social slave to an ideology that will completely destroy our Republic and all your freedoms of choice. You think you don’t have it good now, then join the caravans that are thronging to get into Venezuela. Oh wait, there are no caravans of people wanting to voluntarily go into to socialist/Communist Venezuela.

  2. I don’t know if this is peculiarly American or what but it’s not like socialist countries are generally known for sexual decadence. Homosexuality was illegal in the USSR. Venezuela doesn’t have garbage like this. In Cuba prostitution is illegal and it’s not because the government encourages libertinism for free. (Ironically, Israeli socialism had some of this, but Israel is now the Devil.)

Here, I should hope that they’re shifting the stigma in a more stigmatized direction because it’s clearly not stigmatized sufficiently if they have this troupe going around. On the other hand, I can imagine quite a lot of “performative art,” so I hope I don’t come away disappointed.
