  1. Were the Eskimos given an opportunity to weigh in on this?

  2. Thanks, now I can add “Dreyers” to my list of “non purchasing”. What in the fuque is demeaning about “Eskimo”??? More PC stupidity.

  3. Not being an Eskimo, I cannot say whether or not the name of my very favorite choice from the ice cream vendor’s cart demeans anyone. Not being an Eskimo, I felt no pangs of white superiority, just the privilege to be able to run out to the curb with a coin on a hot day in Houston and get that ice-cold treat.

I would feel proud if the name were Texan Pie. Plenty of Texans will agree it’s the best thing ever.

Now I understand why Haagen Dazs carries a made-up name – nobody to offend here.

  4. DEBEDDEBED says

So whats next? Change from being an American to ???? Because the name might “offend” some one!
    GET REAL! STOP THE BS!!!

  5. I think we need a few gallons of bleach dumped in the Gene Pool. Just too much filth and corruption in there these days…..

  6. The Captive says

If we ate an ESKIMO PIE we knew it was good ice-cream and chocolate and they were bigger serving then -say 60 yrs ago (is that too old?) But all in all it was quality and delicious. Now the very stupid and ignorant BULLY -RIOT of low mentality seem to think it is racist-but that isn’t the case either. We need to crush these mobsters and make them pay and pay for trying to ruin just plain fun! I hate them to the core!

  7. If I buy Cool Whip is that racist?
