RNC web video shows Obama promising, failing on deficit reduction

A new web video produced by the Republican National Committee and released Monday aims to highlight President Obama’s “empty promises” with regards to the national deficit and debt.

The clip, called “Empty Promises: Debt & Deficits,” shows a series of Obama speeches in which the president “pledge[s] to cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term in office.”
