With the state staring at a $16 billion budget shortfall, California Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown is seeking voter approval in November for a $9 billion tax hike initiative that would add three percentages points to the top income tax rate, making it the highest in the nation at 13.3 percent. Perhaps, California lawmakers should look to Texas, where the legislature closed a major budget gap by cutting spending.

One thing i would like to add to anyone who reads this. Our State Legislature is comprised of nothing but “Speacial Interest” type people. They are not looking out for the best interest of the people of this State, so far their actions have proved that. they could not care less for anything for the people but them selves and who they represent and it’s not US! This way they get paid twice, from the State for the office they hold, second from the special interest they work for.
Think about that next time you vote.
While we sit and ask why are they trying to fund the bullet train, ask if it is legal to tax people who will not benefit one iota from it, many CA Taxpayers will never ride this high speed boondoggle, and if you do and there is a earthquake well good luck to you, they will pick up the smear you leave for miles from the mess it will make.
Why are we still in this state housing 20,000 illegals in our prison system, that last time I wrote about this I misquoted the cost to us at 40,000.00 per inmate but the actual cost now is I am told 50,000.00 or ten billion annually and yet we sit and listen to Gov Moonbeam tell us we need to pay more in taxes???? why does the special interest prison system need to build more prisons for our youth when if we sent these illegals who came into our state and broke our laws over to the Feds we would have 20,000 empty beds, Why do we sit here and listen to this crap from our leaders????? Raise up and revolt is not a option it is a necessity now that we know that things will never change unless we take our state back from those who would sell it off from under us,, Free America from this unholy mess that leaders have put us into, Rise up and turn your community into a voice that the capitol cannot drown out, Make you voice’s heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I pray every day that Californians will wake up and not vote for every single left wing tax moonbeam and company come up with. I also pray that the politicians in our state wake up and realize that they have run out of other people’s money and reduce spending. I sure hope it works.
