A new law adopted by the State of Utah that became effective on New Year’s day bans daily alcoholic drink specials.  Californian’s can rest assured that our state legislature has not banned our happy hour Margarita specials.  At least not yet.

  1. AD-RtR/OS! says

It is possible that conditions are such in UT that the people really don’t need an “attitude adjustment period” at the end of each working day, plus alcohol is not on the favored-list of the LDS (but that would be the interjection of the Church into the State, and I’m positive that the ACLU will be heard from on this matter).
But, with Brown and his cronies in full control in Sacramento and the State, the prolls find “attitude adjustment” not just helpful, but required, to face another day. Plus, can’t afford to offend Mexico by cutting into the sales of Corona or XX.

THAT’S NOT A REASON! The wether is a reason, but it’s the only reason I can think of. God must love stupid people, he made so many of them.

    OOPS!, make that weather please.

  4. I’m actually surprised that California hasn’t banned alcohol completely in bars, like smoking.
