This advice was for Thanksgiving. But, expect it for Christmas. In Santa Cruz, if you have a Holiday Party, your guests MUST wear a mask inside your home. But this guy goes further.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!““This is tough because people are all over the map on this,” responded Damour. “They’re also all over the map with their risk tolerance. But the rapid tests have made this a lot easier. Whatever people’s vaccination status is, we can actually confirm safety on the spot.”
“If the situation feels weird, maybe make it kind of fun,” she continued. “And say, ‘we’re going to start with hors d’oeuvres in the garage. You know, we’ll have drinks, we’ll do our rapid tests, and then come on in,’ right?” You can make it playful, make it fun, and then be able to enjoy the holiday because you’re not worried about safety.”
Based on this, I could never have a party at my home. My garage has two cars and lots of boxes, bikes, holiday and pool stuff in it. There is no room to serve drinks or to do testing. Plus, think a guest is willing to pay $75 for a test, just to have some Holiday cheer? Sadly, I could no afford inviting 50 people to a party and paying the $75 per test for each of my guests. This is how crazy these folks are—the lockdowns, air restricted masks and results of vaccines have made mental cases of some folks. Very sad.
CBS Guest: Serve Food to Thanksgiving Guests in Garage While Awaiting Rapid Virus Tests

Paul Bois, Breitbart, 11/24/21
Adding to the litany of intense Thanksgiving suggestions in the age of coronavirus, a psychologist on CBS said that people should consider serving their guests “hor d’oeuvres in the garage” as they await results on rapid virus tests.
During a segment on CBS Mornings, psychologist Lisa Damour was asked how hosts should address people’s vaccination or non-vaccination status over Thanksgiving dinner.
“It might be a difficult conversation before people step into your house to say, ‘whoa, wait a minute, where’s your card, what’s your status?’ before you walk into my home,’” a host said.
“This is tough because people are all over the map on this,” responded Damour.
Damour’s suggestion was just one other over-the-top suggestion in a string of over-the-top suggestions. Axios, for instance, recommended on Tuesday that homes should have “Thanksgiving bouncers” to sift through the non-compliers.
“No one really wants this job, but millions of households may need their own Thanksgiving bouncer. The cover charge is a negative COVID test, done ahead of arrival or outside the front door,” the article said. “Normalizing rapid tests is a practical way to help extended families feel a little more normal around the holiday dinner table.”
Axios suggested that hosts inform their guests ahead of their arrival that they will “be testing everyone at the door for their own safety.”
“Depending on your budget, you might offer to pick up the tab for everyone’s tests, or hosts might ask guests to pay for their own,” it said.
Last week, the New York Times quoted Virginia Tech engineering professor Dr. Linsey Marr who said that unvaccinated children should be forced to wear a mask and “eat quickly” and separately from the adults.
“As the kids will not be fully vaccinated until two weeks after their second shot, I think some care is warranted, especially because some attendees are 65 and older and thus at greater risk of more serious breakthrough infections,” said Marr. “You could have the kids wear masks, eat quickly and stay away from the older adults when eating.”
LOL What a joke. Nobody in their right mind would treat their guests this way. If I was treated this way at someone’s house I’d leave immediately and never return. We didn’t do this at Thanksgiving, just was glad to have our guests here.
Just when you think liberals can’t be any more stupid and ridiculous, a story comes out that makes them
even more stupid and ridiculous.
If we follow the science wearing a mask to protect yourself and others from COVID is like putting up a chain link fence to keep out the wind. Santa Cruz is apparently the new Capitol of Group Think with ex-STASI as community leaders. Just laughable and giving my relatives in Middle America more fodder to use in trying to shame me about continuing to live in California. (Hey, I’m not the one shoveling snow)
Masks and mandates have nothing to do with a virus. For the twisted “leaders” of Santa Cruz and their fellow travelers, the short answer is, NO.
This is getting insane! Masks, vaccines, testing constantly, etc. have no “science” connection with the virus. There is so much research out there that proves mask don’t help stop the spread, they are worthless, all the testing & vaxxing every few months helps big pharma make billions of $’s. This vax is for Covid 19, which is gone, we have the Delta variant now, which these vaccines are not for, so why continue to push & mandate everyone to take the covid 19 vaccine. Yes, the vaccine, if taken will probably help you be less sick and not die. But this is just become a political control hold on the citizens of this country. A way to take our freedoms away! I’m totally vaccinated, but I don’t give a rip about who is and who is not, nor would I ever tell someone that they are not allowed to attend a party nor enter my house unless they are vaccinated or take a rapid response test. My advice is to just say NO to the mandates. I know I refuse to wear a mask anywhere but in a hospital or Dr.s office. If a store or a friend tells me you must wear a mask to be here, then I just leave or won’t go!
As soon as the powers that be get a handle on this pesky African variant they’re going to start work on the common cold. It’s a virus and for sure there will be some bucks in it.
