However, in as many as 20 of those same cities, mayors and other city officials enjoy the personal protection of a dedicated police security detail. In many cities, this security costs taxpayers millions of dollars per year.

We found that the defunding of police – coupled with taxpayer dollars spent on police security details protecting public officials– only occurred in cities run by Democratic mayors.

  1. Obama announced he wanted a national police force and that created a culture that first started with the total disrespect for local law enforcement departments that escalated to the execution of police officers. Most, if not all of these incidences were perpetrated by people that follow the left ideology. Then the scrutiny of the officers that used deadly force, whether justified or not, created the “de-fund the Police” movement. In my opinion, and i stated this publicly during the Obama administration, that the ultimate goal of what he started with his intentional and planned rhetoric, was to make local police departments as ineffective as possible. This would then allow the Left and the cohorts in the media and big tech promote to the unsuspecting and afraid public, that the only way to solve this new wave of violence and crime is to expand the federal police force. Now, we come to July 2021. The Capitol Police have now announced the opening of at least two offices in San Francisco and Tampa. I find it odd they chose these locations to set the foundation of a national takeover of policing. Neither of these locations are a stronghold of right of center, freedom lovers. San Francisco is as far left politically as it gets and Tampa is maybe 50/50 left vs right with an edge to the left. The reason i find it odd is because of the statement, “The new USCP field offices will be in the Tampa and San Francisco areas. At this time, Florida and California are where the majority of our potential threats are,” acting USCP Chief Yogananda Pittman. I honestly do not think that these locations are where, “most of the problems are”, but more locations where they wont receive any significant push back.
